Environmental issues in national economic development has become issues of prime importance, which led lighting energy saving lighting has become the world's "favorite." LED luminous efficiency because the higher and lower manufacturing costs, its prospects and the market is very large. However, the high power LED lamp heat problems limited the development of LED lighting industry, thermal issues are not addressed, will increase the temperature of the LED light, resulting in lower luminous efficiency of its service life shortened. In this paper, the design of lamps and drive two aspects to lower the temperature rise of high-power LED lights and temperature control methods and techniques to effectively reduce and limit the temperature rise of high-power LED lights.
A lower temperature
Currently, LED lamps are the natural convection heat dissipation cooling, install the fan forced cooling, heat pipes and loop heat pipe and so on.
1.1 separation of power and light body
As the power supply itself must be the heat, making the LED light on the heat source increases. At the same time, power and light one LED light design makes the overall heat unevenly, these factors can lead to fatigue and early lamp failure, which might affect their life.
1.2 the choice of quality LED module
LED module on the choice of reducing the temperature also plays a more crucial role. Choose from the high thermal conductivity and consistent material encapsulated LED lamp beads, can improve the internal thermal diffusion. High thermal conductivity and high heat substrate for the metal wick plate so that the heat sink temperature distribution, making the heat sink to maximize.

2 temperature control system

2.1 Constant Current Driver
This program by controlling the output current drive to achieve temperature control of LED lights. 3 trial drive the measured results
This study was high-power LED lights and LED lights, and drive the development work. Figure 8 for the LED street lights and the constant current drive-like, light body with integrated design, the measured temperature of the AC input drive current of 270mA, light long-running in good condition, the total flux 3408lm, the role of temperature, output current is reduced to 87% at room temperature. This above-mentioned program, effectively reducing the temperature rise of high-power LED lights, once the temperature exceeds the control temperature, makes the drive to reduce output, without affecting the use of the case, the appropriate LED lights to reduce the luminous flux and power consumption to avoid overheating due to the LED lighting failure and shortened life.
